Promyri is a mountainous traditional village of southern Pelion with 377 inhabitants, 57 km from Volos, amphitheatrically built, one of the most beautiful villages of Pelion, surrounded by dense vegetation, legends and traditions.

It was built at the present time in the 16th century by residents of the Theotokos settlement so as not to be seen by the pirates. It is a village that preserves the traditional Pelion character with old mansions and stone houses and is distinguished for its tranquility and naturalness.
